Spider Mite Frequency Session: 16-Min Pure Tone for Plants

What this is

A focused 16-minute pure tone session for plants under spider mite stress. It is not music for you to listen to. It is a steady tone you play in the room near the affected plants to accompany their recovery as part of non-chemical pest care.

How to use it

Use a small Bluetooth or desktop speaker, not a phone speaker, and no headphones, since this is for the plant's environment. Place the speaker 30 to 60 cm from the leaf canopy, aimed at the foliage rather than the soil. Keep the volume low to moderate and steady, like a soft radio in the room. If you would have to raise your voice to talk over it, it is too loud. Play in the morning or early evening in calm air, and pair it with 40 to 60 percent humidity and gentle airflow so mites are less comfortable. During an active infestation, days 1 to 3, run it twice a day alongside your usual pest steps: isolate the plant, wipe the leaves top and underside, raise humidity, and improve airflow. Through weeks 1 and 2, run it daily until new growth looks clean, then 2 to 3 times a week as maintenance in warm, dry spells.

Being honest with you

I cannot promise this clears spider mites. The aim is to make the plant's environment less inviting for mites and to support the plant while your hands on steps do the real work. It is part of a broader non-chemical routine, not a replacement for it. The research on frequencies and plants is limited, and this is simply the session I run for my own plants.
